NWSPCA Grievance Procedure – External
Procedure Brief and Purpose
This procedure aims to give NWSPCA Committee members guidelines on dealing with grievances from the public.
Background
The CRA code recommends that Charity’s should have a documented procedure for dealing with complaints from
the public or its service users.
These requirements and all relevant data were discussed by the Management committee and the following policy
was agreed upon.
Grievance Procedure:
• All grievances must be made in writing via one of the following channels:• Posted to our correspondence address
13 Rafter St,
Gorey,
Co Wexford.
• Emailed to the Societies email address [email protected] .
• PM the Societies Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/northwexfordspca .
• Anonymous grievances will not be entertained. All grievances must contain valid contact details for the
complainant.
• Grievances should contain as much information as possible and include specific times and dates.
• The NWSPCA management committee will discuss the grievance at the next occurrence of their monthly
meeting and undertake to reply to the complainant with 14 days of the grievance being discussed.
