what we do
About our Shelter
Welcome to NWspca Welfare Centre, an animal welfare organisation based in Gorey, Co. Wexford. We are located behind Gorey Veterinary Hospital. Our small centre relies on a team of dedicated volunteers who look after the dogs and cats surrendered to the organisation.
- Rehoming: Every year, we re-home hundreds of cats and dogs, giving them a second chance for a new home. We operate a no-kill policy.
- Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR): We operate a trap/neuter/release programme for feral and community cats, neutering/spaying them to ensure they remain healthy and do not produce numerous homeless kittens. Contact us for further information.
- Animal Welfare Inspectors:Our inspectors investigate reported cases of animal cruelty. The service can be contacted through the emergency response line: 087 639 2531.
